The National Youth Council of Hungary (NIT) is looking for applicants for long-term (12-month) individual ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering in Hungary’s capital, Budapest. If you are a young person aged between 18 and 30 and want to gain international experience while actively contributing to youth policy and projects, this opportunity is for you!
Who Are We?
The National Youth Council of Hungary (NIT) represents the interests of Hungarian youth both domestically and across Europe.
Key features of the organization:
- Acts as an umbrella organization for various youth and student organizations across the country.
- Serves as the voice of young people in advocacy, policy development, and social projects.
- Over the past decade, NIT has played a significant role in shaping youth strategy, fostering equality, and promoting active youth participation in society.
- Special attention is given to social inclusion, marginalized groups, and rural youth.
- Its office is located at the European Youth Center Budapest (EYCB).
What Tasks Await You as a Volunteer?
During the 12-month volunteering period, you will engage in a variety of impactful activities:
- Office tasks and administrative support.
- Event organization, including workshops and conferences.
- Social media content creation and executing social campaigns.
- Local community building and participating in creative projects.
